Starting with metabolomics research, the Baba Laboratory at Kyushu University developed the world's first analytical system, "Supercritical Fluid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer (SFC/MS)," which is capable of comprehensively and precisely capturing lipid molecules in lipidomics (JST Research Results Development Program). While this technological development made it possible to perform a wide variety of analyses, a new issue arose: the time required to analyze the vast amounts of data acquired. To solve this issue and put metabolomics and lipidomics into practical use in society, Be-Force Inc. was established under JST's START Program (Academic Innovation Program for the Creation of New Businesses from Universities).

After the company was founded, we worked closely with the Baba Laboratory at Kyushu University, and through daily discussions with researchers conducting cutting-edge analysis, we developed our own software to standardize, advance, and speed up various analytical tasks.
